9,600 Dump Trucks Destroying Our Neighborhood per Year!

Excerpt from Updated O&G Traffic Report below [Full Report Here]

(2/15/24): O&G Industries is applying for a Site Plan Modification to re-establish a concrete (and potentially asphalt) manufacturing and processing plant on its Smith Street property located on the Norwalk River in Downtown Norwalk, CT.

Subject to approval by P&Z, it plans on feeding the site with 10-12 river barges of raw material per month for distribution by dump-trucks to unknown destinations throughout the area.

In partnership with neighbors, property owners, businesses and community groups, the Norwalk Green Association and City Hall Neighborhood Association seek to raise awareness around this potentially catastrophic environmental and societal event that contradicts all conscientious and responsible development ideology in one of the fastest growing small cities in the Northeast.
